Phyllis Njeri Njeng’a (Mama Ng‘endo)

1944 – 12th October 2017  

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on to glory of Phyllis Njeri Njeng’a (Mama Ng‘endo of Kangemi).

Daughter of the late Ng’anga Kuria and the late Miriam Ng’endo Ng’ang’a of ‘Kinangop. She was wife of the late James Nienga. Mother of Peter Thuo, Ruth Wambui and Ruth Wambui Ng’anga, late John Ng’anga and the late jane Ng‘endo lgamba. She was a sister to James Ngotho Ng’ang’a, Asaph Waweru Ng’ang’a, Ruth Wambui Ndwiga, Esther Wanjiku Macharia, Salome Nyokabi Ng’ang’a, the late Thuo Nganga and the late Peter Kirehu Ng’ang’a, Mother-in-law of John lgamba, Grace Ng’ang’a, lrene Thuo and Samuel Macharia. Grandmother to Lynn Ng’ang’a, Mitchelle Ng’ang’a, Maryanne Ng’ang’a, Gabriel Ng’ang’a, Ken Nduati, Ruth lgamba, Moses lgamba,Emmanuel Thuo, Caleb Thuo, Shaleen Thuo, Lucy Phyllis Njeri Njenga Wairimu, Gabriel Mwangi. Great grandmother to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily in her home in Kangemi (Marenga road) near Church of God for prayers and burial arrangements.Also meetings shall be at St. Andrews PCEA Church (Hall 1) on State House road, near Uhuru Highway/ University way roundabout on Tuesday 17th October and Wednesday 18th October 2017 only from 5.30pm – 7.30pm. The cortege leaves Chiromo Mortuary on Thursday 19th October 2017 at 9am for a funeral service in PCEA Kangemi Church at 10am and thereafter the burial will take place in Langata Cemetery.
