Pius Kimani Mwaura

It is with humility and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to Glory of Pius Kimani Mwaura of Ndithiatj – Kwamaiko, Nyaga Sub-location, Ngewa Location, Githungun Sub-County, Kiambu County.

The late Pius Kimani Mwaura is the husband of Lucy Njeri Kimani. Son of the Late Francis Mwaura Kimani (Munyororo) and Beth Wanjiku Mwaura. He was a step son of Jane Njoki Mwaura. He is the father of Johnson Mwaura, Jackson Miring’u, Late Josphat Wanyoike, Beth Wanjiku Gitau. Moses Kinyanjui, Nancy Wanjiru Cere, Virginia Waithira Kamande, Agnes Wambui Njuguna and Monicah Njoki. He is the father in-law of Anne Njeri Mwaura, Juliet Wambui Miringu, James Gitau Kimani (Chief – Ngewa), Pauline Nyakiumba Kinyanjui, James Cere Kibathi, John Kamande and Thomas Njuguna.

He is grandfather of Lucy Njeri Mwaura (National Registration Bureau – Nyeri), Francis Ng’ang’a Miring’u, Kevin Kimani Glue (USA), Tevin Kibathi Cere, Brian Njoroge Kamande, Tanis Njeri Njuguna and Shannelle Njeri among others. He was a great grandfather of 3 great grandchildren. He was step brother of the Late Janet Waithira Gichuhi, Lee Daniel Kimani, Late Samuel Karanu. Joseph Kairianja, Margaret Wangui, Ruth Njeri Meiruri, Milkah Wairiniu and Monicah Wambui Wainaina. He was son in law of Late Karega Kiburugu and Late Wanjiku Karega. He was brother in law of the Late Kinyanjui Karega, Beth Karega, Kamau Karega and Eunice Wairimu Karega.

The cortege leaves Aga Khan University Hospital on Thursday 9th August 2018 at 8 Am for the Funeral Mass and Burial at his Ndithiati – Kwamaiko home from 11AM.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at his home in Ndithiati Kwamaiko from 4PM and at Ridgeways View – Kiambu Rd. from 6PM for Prayers and Funeral Preparations.

2 Timothy 4:7.8 I have competed well; I have finished the race; I have kept the faith. From now on the crown of righteousness awaits me, which the Lord, the just Judge, will award to me on that day.
