We regret to announce the passing on of Pius Makana Obwoge (Onchong’a).

Son of the late Patrice Obwoge and the late Alexina Moraa. Husband of Patricia Nyanchama. Father of Fanice Moraa, Edinah Kemunto, (USA), Millicent Mandera, Douglas Obwoge (Europe), Clinton Bichage, Sylvester Getabu and Cose Oyaro. Grandfather of Cynthia, Peter, Nyagecheme and Talia. Brother of Johnleo, the late Thomas (Former OCPD), Soteri (CBK), Julius (Elimu Academy), Samuel and the late Philip. Brotheri-in-law of Paul and Peter Nyang’ari. Uncle of Justus, Charles, Monari, Edith, Violet, Caro, Steve, Macilinous, Linet, Onsure, Ogutu and George Aosa. Nephew of Hon. Chris Bichage, Siro, Maraga, the late Oigo, late Oyaro, late Nyabena, late Kibeti, late Ombaba Nyakundi, the late Ooga, the late Makori and the late Nyambong’i. Cousin of George, Onkoba, Joyce, John, Monda, Ochenge Ombaba, Denis, Mogambi, Stephen, Ochenge Nyambong’i, Ndemo Getabu and Lawrence Nyakora.

Friends and relatives are meeting in his home Eremo village, Kisii Mwalimu Hotel, Keumbu market and Nairobi on 16th July 2019 as from 10.00am for a main fundraising to cater for hospital and burial expenses.

The cortege will leave Christamarianne Mortuary, on 18th July, 2019, burial will be on 19th July 2019 at his home Eremo village, Keumbu Division, Kisii County.
