It’s with profound sorrow that we announce the sudden death of Mama Prisca Gesare Maranga of Mochenwa Geta village, Nyabiosi sub-location.

Daughter of the late On’gan’ga Kemari and Nyanchama On’gan’ga.Wife of Henry Maranga Nyamasege. Co-wife of Keremensia Maranga. Mother of the late Esther, Jane, Jason (Advocate), Grace (teacher), the late Teresa, David (SEKU), On’gan’ga, Edward (Lewa Downs), Daniel, Ann (teacher). Step mother of the late Charles, Joel (Advocate), the late Ondiba, Nyamasege, Seremani, Kemunto, Moraa, Nyanchoka and Alice. Sister of Ombiro, the late Nyaboke, the late Mokeira, Makori and Nyamoita. Sister-in-law of the late Nyamogori, the late Ongeko, the late Mageto, the late Hellena, late Mokune, the late Bocheere, Bisinga, the late Ondieki, Mose, Toel, Gesure and Nyaboke.

Mother-in-law of the late Nyawina, Zachary, Pamela (Moi Girls), Maina, Grace, Beatrice, Machio (MP- Shah), Joyce and Ongaga. Aunt of the Ombiro’s, Nyangaya’s, Okon’go’s, Sese’s, Ongeko’s, Mageto’s, Ogeto’s, Matoke’s, Ongiri’s, On’geta’s, Mose’s, Toel’s among others. Korera of late Yamos, the late Oyugis, Mr & Mrs Omangi, the late Mariera, Maria, the late Sagwe, Nyanchera, Mr & Mrs Omwando, Mr & Mrs Ogato, Mr & Mrs Onsongo, Mr & Mrs Ongaga, the late Ekesa and Bridgit. She leaves behind 39 Grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

Family and friends are meeting daily at Garden Square and at home in Mochenwa Geta. Main fundraising will be held on Wednesday 19th July 2017 at the Professional Centre in Nairobi. The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home on Thursday 20th July 2017, for overnight stay and burial on Friday 21st July 2017 at her home, Mochenwa Geta village, Nyamira County.
