It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Priscilla Gakenia Kimani which occurred on December 26, 2020 at Nazareth Hospital after a short Illness.

Wife to the late David Kimani Mwangi. Mother to Daniel Mwangi, the late Andrew Karanja, Richard Makimei, Joseph Ngige (Parliament), Lucy Maruga (Judiciary), the late Peter Githua and Timothy Ng’ang’a.

Mother in law to Mary Mwangi, Virginia Karanja, Joyce Makimei, Agnes Njeri, Jane Ngige, David Maruga and Mary Ng’ang’a.

Grandmother to David Kimani (DJ Kym), Nicholas Mugo (DJ Moh), Priscilla Karanja (NBK), Lewis Kimani, Priscilla Makimei (USA), David Makimei (USA), Jesse Makimei (USA), Evelyn Ngige (USA), Olivia Ngige (Joe Ngigi Advocates), David Ngige, Kyle Ngige, Kariuki Maruga, Kimani Maruga (Infinity), Peter Maruga (KCA), Lawrence Ng’ang’a and David Ng’ang’a. Great grandmother to many.

Sister to the late Joseph Wariba, the late Beth Gacheru, the late Samuel Ng’ang’a, Serah Wanjiru, the late Joyce Kariuki, Stephen Gicharu, Herman Njuguna, Hannah Muriuki (USA), Rebecca Wanjiru and Tabitha Njuhi.

Prayers and meetings are taking place daily at the family home in Ndathini from 4.30 pm.

The cortege will leave KU Referral Funeral home on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at 8,00 a.m.

Funeral service will be held at the family home Ndathiini Village Githunguri Sub County, Kiambu County starting at 11.00 a.m.

Due to the prevailing COVID 19 pandemic, strict adherence to the government protocols shall be observed.
