Priscilla Nyaguthie Macharia

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother Priscilla Nyaguthie Macharia. She passed away peacefully at home on 8th October 2020 after a valiant struggle with cancer.

Daughter of Alexander and Marjorie Maimba, loving wife of Dr. Macharia Kiruhi, (Kenya Methodist University), mother of Thomas Kiruhi, Christine Wanjiru and Ishmael Maina (Strathmore University). Mother in law of Francis Kihiu and doting grandmother of Claire Nyaguthii and Janice Wanjiku. Sister of Charity Muthoni, Teresa Nyaguthii, James Wambugu, Edward Theuri, Michael Kamwaro, the late Michael Mwangi, the late Matthew Wamiti, the late John Kariuki, the late Dominic Makara, the late Joseph Wairagu, the late Elmenjindio Kibaara, loving Auntie and grandmother of many.

The funeral mass will be held at Mwenji Catholic Church on Wednesday 14th October at 10.30am and thereafter burial at their home in Wamugo village, Ngoru sub location, Nyeri.
