An Iroko tree has fallen!
We celebrate the life of Prof. Chris Lukorito Wanjala of the Department of Literature, University of Nairobi, who passed away on the morning of the 15th October 2018 at Eldoret Hospital.
Son of the late Temoteo Lukorito and the late Ayasi Nakhatama of Chesamisi Village. Brother of the late Lorna Barasa, the late Charles Lukorito, the late Grace Namukuru, the late Julius Lukorito, John Lukorito, Richard Lukorito, Rosemary Tolokwa, Nobert Lukorito. Husband of the late Everlyn Nasimiyu, Sarah Naswa and Ruth Kibiti. Father of the late Rose, Levi, Oliver, Givern, Christian, David, Michael, Dr. Alex, Catherine, Caroline Rehema, Emmanuel, Barnaby, Millie, Martin, Gavin, Andrew, Nelson and Timothy. Father-in-law of Hellen, Esther, Elizabeth, Anthea, Mary, Annabelle, Neto, Nathan, Cynthia, Rose and Lilian. Uncle and Grandfather of many.

Funeral arrangements are taking place daily from 5.00pm at All Saints Cathedral.
There will be a funeral service at Parklands Baptist church on Wednesday 24th October at 12.00 noon.
Burial will take place at his home in Mabuye Village, Luandeti Location, Kakamega county on 27th October 2018.
