Prof. Muigai wa Gachanja

Appreciation

We the family of Prof. Muigai-wa-Gachanja take this opportunity to thank God for Prof’s life and the time we enjoyed together.

We wish to thank The Aga Khan Hospital and specifically Dr. Harun Otieno (U.S.A), Dr. Paresh K.J. Patel, Dr. Musyoka Mutiso, Dr. Gaman Mohamed, Dr. Smita Devani & all the medical staff and caregivers including Peter
Kinuthia who walked with Prof during the period of his illness.

We also wish to thank the ACK Canon Hesbon Church, ACC&S, O.L-R.C.C that led prayers for Prof and provided
spiritual support over the years.

We further thank the Funeral Committee, the wider Gachanja, Mwangi and Njuguna Families led by Hon. Humphrey Kimani Njuguna.We also thank Friends and the Residents of Varsity Ville Estate who visited with the family daily, Organizations, Groups, including but not limited to Ruiru Sports Club, Thika Sports Club, UNFPA, GE Healthcare, Safaricom, Ndugu Fraternity, One Voice Sisters, Jerusalem Cell Group, Blessed Parental Group, BSF
Lorna’s Group, Strathmore Alumni (2002), MD Welfare, Mollynoggers, Settlers of Catan, KD Warriors Fellowship and ‘What if We Fellowship’ for the support they all provided to us during this trying time.

Finally, we thank Prof’s Colleagues at Kenyatta University and Prof Austin Bukenya who travelled from Uganda to condole with the Family.

Prof Muigai wa Gachanja lived a rich and rewarding life and he will be well remembered by his many Friends, Colleagues, Family and people whose lives he impacted in a positive manner.
