Prof. Muigai wa Gachanja
It is with profound sorrow and a deep sense of loss that we announce the death of Prof. Muigai wa Gachanja early morning of 15th January 2024 after a long illness bravely borne.
The late Prof Muigai was loving Husband to Mrs. Florence Wanjiru Gachanja.
Conscientious father to Eng. Gachanja Muigai, Muthoni Muigai, Peter & Mary Kinuthia. A doting Grandfather to Brian Ikonya, Jaba Weru Muriuki, Joy Wambui and Humphrey Muigai Gachanja.
He was brother to Lawson Gachire, the late Isaac Githuku, the late Jimmy Wanderi, the late Eng. H.B Njuguna, Gilbert Mwangi (USA), Perry Kamanda, the late Jane Wanjiru, Helen Njeri, Leah Wambui (USA) and Naomi Kimata.
He was brother-in-law to Rose Gachire, Rose Githuku, Leah Njuguna, Njoki Mwangi, Dr. John Muoria, Fred & Millicent Kiuru, Rev. Stephen & Eloise Wanjau, Obadiah & Julia Kariuki, Charity Wangari, the late Caleb & Agnes Mbuthia, Damaris Wanjiku, Godfrey & Rose Kimani, Ephraim Mugo; Alfred & Catherine Gatiaga, Sarah Njambi and Lucy Waiyego.
He was a Cousin, Uncle, Friend and Colleague to many.
Meetings are being held at his Ruiru Bypass Home and Roasters Inn Thika Road.
He will be laid to rest on 23rd January 2024 at his Kiangige Village Home, Gatanga Sub-County.

To an ever smiling and joyful uncle, master of wisdom, patience and always showed you how to have a good time. I am great full for having been in a little part of your life. I will always remember you as the wise, sage and benevolent uncle. Until we meet again
