Prof. Mwenda Mukuthuria

It’s with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce sudden death of Prof. Mwenda Mukuthuria of Maasai Mara University which occurred on the night of 27th July, 2018.

Son of the late Mr and Mrs Ibrahim M’Mukuthuria. Husband of Yuniah Kemunto (Egerton University) and Faith Kanja(Simba Colt Motors). Son-in-law of Michael Ongwae and Stanley Kilemi. Father of Johari Kilimiri, Venessa Gakii and Gromyko Aman. Brother of Prof George King’oriah (University of Nairobi), Lucy Kainda, Jeremmy Ntabathia, Paul Mutabari, and the late Joseph Gitonga.

Step son of Loise Karimi M’Mukuthuria. Step brother of Kagwiria Mutwiri, Kibara, Gacheri and Gaita. Brother in law of Melckedec Samoka, Nelson Mosongo, Jackson Nyabuto, Prisca Magari, Gladys Bagesi, Beatrice Nyasani, Edna Nyarangi and Damaris Thimangu, Kiburi Kilerni, Makena Kilemi, Kenneth Kilemi, Dorcas, Ruth and others.

Uncle of Mwingirwa, Ntongondu. Gakii Kassamba(U.S.A), Murithi, Duane Kithinji, Ntongai, Kithinji, Gitonga, Murega, Kabirithu, Munene, Mukami, Kimathi, Mutuma, Nguta, Kathambi, Cynthia and Ian.

Family and friends are converging at rural home Nkomo Village, Tigania West Sub-County, Meru County and San Valencia Restaurant Anniversary Towers Nairobi.

Professor will be laid to rest at his rural home on Saturday 4th August 2018.
