Professor Charles Nderitu Warui

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Professor Charles Nderitu Warui of The University of Nairobi, Veterinary Anatomy which occurred on Sunday 25th April 2021 at the Aga Khan Hospital after illness bravely borne.

Loving husband to Jane Wairimu Warui. Dad to Elizabeth Abyjah Warui (Madison Group), Caroline Wanjira Warui (Ogilvy) and Florence Nyokabi Warui (Playgroup Ltd). A doting grandfather to Gabrielle Olivia Wanjiku Nduiti (Braeside School). Father in love to Stephen Kihara Nduati. He was the son to Abyjah Nyambura Nderitu and the late Peter Gatumbo Nderitu of Othaya, Witima Village.

Son in law to the late Thomas Nderitu Mwangi and the late Lydia Wanjira Nderitu of Tetu, Nyaithe Village. Brother to George Gatumbo, the late Michael Mbuthla, Florence Wachira, Nancy Ndonga, Cyrus Marna, Bernard Gitonga and Wachira Nderitu Brother in law to Jane Wachira, Dr. Catherine Mwarari, Onesmus Ndonga, Lawrence Wachira, Mary Waweru, the late Joseph Njaramba, Charles Nderitu, Susan Nderitu, David Miricho, Simon Malna and Napoleon Githinji Uncle to Muthoni K, Dr. Wachirl, Dr. Muthoni N , Gichuhi, Nderitu, Samuel,Wanliku, Brian, Njeri, Nyambura, Nyamu, Simon, Maureen, Maurice, Eric, Edwin, Patrick Mukundi, George, Catherine, Daniel and many others.He was a dear friend to many.

Cortege leaves Lee Funeral Home on Friday 30th April for a private funeral service and burial at his farm in Kiserian, Nkarusa village In Kajiado county.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at his home on Ring Road, Klleleshwa with strict adherence to COVID 19 protocols.
