Rachel Wanjiru Mwangi

 It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Rachel Wanjiru Mwangi (Rtd KCB).

Daughter of the late Murage Kanja and the late Dorcas Wairuri. Daughter-in-law of the late Moses Kimani and Phoebe Wambui Kimani. Loving wife of Simon Mwangi Kimani. Loving mother of Edward Mwangi, Phoebe Wambui, Moses Kimani and Stanley Kanja. Mother-in-law of June Murage, Nicholas lthondeka, Grace Nyambura. Sister of Agnes Njeri Ndung’u (Kaweru), Grace Wanjiku Karanja, late Stanley Kanja and Elizabeth Kabura Maina, Nancy Wangari Kamonjo, Mary Kiai (Green World Health, Nyeri), Purity Waigumo Macharia (Thika). Sister-in-law and auntie to many. Grandmother of Amani, Bar-aka, Fadhili, Gabriel, Jeremy, Christian, Kristen, Abraham, Alexander and Kian.

Family and friends are meeting at her Thika home in UTI (USAID) House No. 63. From 6:30pm daily for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Bishop Okoe Funeral Home Thika on Friday 11th October, 2019 at 8.00am. Funeral Service will be held at ACK St Andrew’s Cathedral Thika at 9:30am. Thereafter, the body will be laid to rest at their family home at Gatheru village, Kiharu Division, Murang’a County (along Murang’a — Kamgema Road).
