Rael Kathuri M’Rukunga

It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God will that we announce the passing on of Mrs Rael Kathuri M’Rukunga that occurred on Sunday 25th August, 2019, through cardiac arrest.

Daughter of the late M’Naingabu Naingabu and the late Mrs Kaili Naingabu. Beloved wife of late M’Rukunga M’Athiru. Mother of Daniel Rukunga, Florah Kaili, Joel Rukunga, Dorcas Kaario, Jacob Rukunga, Jane Kendi and Charles Rukunga. Sister of the late Ruciaka, the late Nchulubi, the late Mwamukui, the late Ciornwaine, the late Aburie and Mwaine. Step-mother of the late Mwika, the late Mwakaiya, Kirathi, Kanario and the late Kaimuri. She had 60 grandchildren among them Irene Kangai (USA), 63 great-grandchildren, among them Christine (Germany) and one great-great-grandchild.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily from 5.00pm at her home Antuanuu, Karachiine, Blue Springs Thika Road Nairobi and Isiolo at her son’s residence.

The cortege leaves t Johns Mission Hospital, Tigania on Friday 30th August, 2019 at 9.00am to MCK Athambu church for prayers and thereafter, burial at her son’s home Karachii in the afternoon.
