Rahab Michere Nene

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of our beloved Rahab Michere Nene of Turitu Kiambu.

Daughter of the late Hezekiah Goko Waithaka and the late Prisillah Nyokabi Goko. Loving wife of the late Paul Nene Metha. Mother of Peter Goko, John Gachungi (USA), Richard Waithaka, Petronilla Muthoni (USA), Pollyann Nyokabi, (Mombasa), Lucy Njeri, Sarah Njoroge (UK), the late Esther Wairimu and the late James Kimani. Sister of Hannah Wairimu Waithaka (Ngaru) and the late Serah Wanjiku Muchura, the late Norman Waithaka, the late Elizabeth Wairimu, the late Samuel King’ara, the late John Kuria, the late Irene Warigia and the late Njoroge Goko. Step-mother of Rosemary Wairimu Mbugua, Lucy Nene, Joefred Ndichu, Jane Wairimu Njuguna, Gladys Muthoni Kariuki, Nelly Wanjiru, the late P.K Nene, the late Fredrick Kimani and the late George Gachungi. Grandmother and great-grandmother to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily for funeral arrangement at her home Turitu next to ACK Emmanuel church.

The cortege will leave Lee Funeral Home on Tuesday 17th November 2020 at 9am. Funeral service will take place at St. James cathedral Kiambu at 11:00am and thereafter for burial at her farm in Turitu. There will be a memorial service  Sunday 15th November 2020 at 3:00pm at St. James Cathedral Church Kiambu.
