Ray Oduor Aringo (Agwambo)

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Ray Oduor Aringo “Agwambo”.

Beloved son of Mzee Henry Mark Gor Aringo and Mrs Kerina Arwa Gor of Oyani Village, South Kanyamkago, Migori County. Husband of Ruth Adhiambo and Dorothy Atieno. Father of the late Sharon, Charles, Phoebe, Phenny, and Prince Omondi. Brother of Merysah Adhiambo, the late Roselyne, the late Barrack Omondi, Salome Atieno (Dani),Angeline Anyango (Una) and Norah Apondi.

Uncle of Kerina, Jean Paul, Charles Mark, Savannah, Barrack, Santiago and Merab. Nephew of the late Edward Odek and Mama Damaris Odek, the late Richard and the late Phoebe Odondi, Seth and Pamela Aringo, the late Shadrach and Uldah Gaya, Elphas and Mama Rispa Ongadi. A cousin of the Odek’s, the Odondi’s, the Seth’s, the Gaya’s, the Ongadi’s, the Obuya’s, the Owiti’s, and the Naaman’s.

Grandson of the late Mzee Mariko Aringo , the late Mama Susana Ayao, Mama Miriam Aringo, the late Aidi Aringo and the late Yunes and the late Ethamayo Ombuor. Brother-in-law of Dickens Odhiambo. Son-in-law of the late Dixon and the late Beatrice Opiyo as well as Judith and Johnson Otieno.

The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home on Sunday the 20th of June for Migori County, South Kanyamkago, Oyani village, where he will be laid to rest on Monday 21st of June, 2021.

May the Lord rest his soul in eternal peace. Rest easy Agwambo.
