It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Rebeka Auma Wanzala.

Wife of the late Evangelist Matayo Wanzala. Daughter of the late Yoswa Sutse and the late Miriam Bakhoya. Mother of David Wanzala, Kefa Wanzala, Lydia Kubasa, the late Alice Indakwa and Gideon Eriya Wanzala. Grandmother of Carol Wanzala, Caren Obengo, Stephen Wesonga, Samwel Obengo, Lilian Obengo, Dephinah Obengo, Mathews Obengo, Miriam Obengo, Elvis Wanzala, Brian Adongo, Elton Barasa, Elinah Rebeka, Collins Nawade, Clinton Eriya, Calvin Eriya, Clarice Oronda, Claine Kaka, Brenda Thoya, Rachel Thoya, Wiliksta Kubasu, Faith Kubasu, Justus Okumu. She leaves behind 18 great-grandchildren.

The cortege leaves Butula Mission Hospital Mortuary, on 19th February 2021, at 10.00am, for an overnight stay. Burial will be on 20th February, 2021 at her home in Bukuyudi Village, Kanjala Sub-location, Butula Sub-county.
