Regina Akinyi Ingolo

The Kenya National Association of Probation officers regret to announce the passing on of Regina Akinyi Ingolo while undergoing treatment at Manipal, India on 28th October 2018. Until her death she was a senior probation officer in the department of probation and Aftercare Services- Kenya stationed at Winam probation office Kisumu County.

Daughter of the late Bonface Opondo and the late Selina Opondo of Hono, Alego. Loving wife of Peter Ingolo of Mwihila, Khwisero, Kakamega County; doting mother of Billy Ingolo-USA, Elphas Andola-kisumu and Dennis Opondo – Kisumu. Sister of Paul Opondo, the late Phillip Opondo, Anne Opondo and Caroline Opondo. Mother in law of Sharon Akinyi Olang’o, daughter- in -law of mama Debora Ingolo.

The cortege leaves Aga khan hospital mortuary Kisumu on Thursday 8th November 2018 at 2.30 p.m for funeral service at St. Stephens Cathedral (old sanctuary) then proceed to her Robert Ouko estate residence for an overnight vigil.

The cortege leaves for her home (Mwihila) on Friday 9th November 2018 at 10.00 a.m.

The burial service will commence at 10.00a.m on Saturday, 10th November at Mwihila, Mundobelwa in Khwisero SubCounty, Kakamega County.

Regina you were a matriach in the KNAPO fraternity, we will miss you but in God’s hands you rest, in our hearts you remain forever.
