Retired Elder Betha Muthoni Mungai

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of our Beloved Retired Elder Betha Muthoni Mungai of Mbogo-ini village, Kahumbu Location, Murang’a County.

Daughter of the late Wallace Mungai and Esther Wanjiru Mungai. Beloved wife of Duncan Mungai Ngoba of Mbogo-ini village. Mother of James Ngigi, Wallace Kariuki, George Kibandi, Jane Wanjiru, Margaret Wanjiku, Moses Muiruri, the late Peter Chege, and Henry Kironji. Sister of the late Ezekiah Ngigi, Ann Muchoki, Stanley Kariuki, the late Francise Ngaru, Susan Njeri, the late Moses Muiruri and Mary Wanjiru. Mother-in-law of Catherine Ngigi, Jane Kariuki, Susan Kibande, Susan Muiruri, and Regina Kironji. Mother-in-law of Danson Mwangi.   Grandmother and great grandmother of many.

Family and friends are meeting at All Saints Cathedral Kindergarten area from 5pm to 8pm and also at her home in Mbogo-ini village.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University mortuary at 5am on Friday the 16th August, 2019 for a funeral mass at P.C.E.A. Mbogo-ini church, Kandani Parish from 10am, then interment at her home Mbogo-ini village, Murang’a County.
