It is with deep sorrow that we announce the promotion to glory of Retired Headteacher Joab Wamoyi Wabwire of Lusheya Village, Mumias East, which occurred on 12th December, 2022 after a long illness.

Husband to Wilfred Owano, Jane Kabala and the late Marcella Anyona. Father to Martin, Judith, Joyce, Geoffrey, Penina, Rose, Susan, Patrick, Erick, Hillary, Gerrishom, Eddah, Margaret, Catherine, Electine, Asiko, Linda, Maurine, Evelyne, Shiundu, Morgan, Alex, Dickens, Annet and the late Bamphil. He had 68 grandchildren.

The cortege leaves St. Marys’ Hospital Mumias on the morning of Tuesday, 20th December, 2022. A Memorial service will be conducted at his Lubinu home and then proceed to Lusheya home for burial on Wednesday, 21st December, 2022 starting from 9.00am.

Dad, rest with the Angels. You fought a good fight, you finished the race, you kept the faith.
