On 16/5/2021, the Angels welcomed home a Saint, Margaret Gituto Maina.

Wife of the late Stephen Maina Gachengo. Mother of Joyce Karira, Alice Gatama, Catherine Chege, Michael Gachengo, Charles Ngabu, J.P. Mwangi Maina, Susan Otieno and Caroline Maina. Sister of the late Samuel Muthui, Arthur Chege, Rosemary Waigwe and the late John. Mother-in-law of the late Henry Karira, Dr. Gatama, the late Prof. Chege, Pastor Janerose and Pastor Samuel. She has left behind 30 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

Meetings for burial preparations are being held at her home in Kirogo, Muranga.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home – Kabati, on Friday 21/05/2021 at 7.00am. Funeral service will be held at ACK St. Andrews Church, Gathinja. Thereafter burial will be at her home, Kirogo, Murang’a County.
