It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing away of Retired Senior Chief Maurice Otieno Nyawina on 15th Feb, 2019 at Maseno Mission Hospital.
Husband of Lilian Achieng, Benta Atieno, Rosemary Njera and Lilian Akinyi. Son of the late Lucas Nyawina Achida and the late Stella Awino Nyawina. Brother of the late Peter Oyiete, late Consolata Aticha, Patricia Ahuha, late Elizabeth Atieno and the late Peter Achida. Beloved father of Shelvin, Morphin, Everlyne, Vivian,Edith,Val,Eunice,Milly,Esther,Prisca,Sheryl, Kate, Stella, Kevin, David, Mike, Fidelle, Geoffrey, the late Maureen, Brian, Judith, Faith, Grace among others. He is survived by 28 grandchildren.
Family and Friends are meeting daily at his home in Seme Kolunje Magwar Maseno, Kisumu County.
The cortege leaves St. Alloys Masaba Mortuary along Maseno Rd, near Lela on Friday 8th March at 9:00am for a memorial service at St. Anthony Lela at 10:00am.
He will be laid to rest on 9th March 2019 at his home in Seme Kolunje Magwar.
