Father of Isaac Waihenya, Peter Njeru, Gideon Mwithiga, the late Esther Nungari, Judy Njambi and Edward Kabue. Father-in-law of Sylvia Njeri, Joan Wangechi, James Ndegwa and Charity Wangari. Son-in-law of the late Ruel Njeru and the late Phoebe Gachambi. Brother-in-law of the late Nancy Wambugu, the late John Wambugu, Lilian Wamwari, Jane Kariuki, Edward Kabue, Wilfred Riitho, the late Nelson Mwangi, the late Peter Nduthu, Mercy Njeri Wakaba and Jane Waihuini. Grandfather of Tracy Waceke, Patricia Wanjiku, Victor Mundia, Fidelis Wangari, Gift Githinji and Viniel Mundia. Great-grandfather of Andre Jelani Maina.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at Kangaita, Nyeri and his residence at Pesi Settlement Scheme for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Nyeri funeral home (Outspan) on 1st June, 2019 at 7.30am for funeral service and burial thereafter at his Pesi Farm (plot 64) on the same day.
