It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden death of Retired Senior Superintendent (SSP) Christopher Leo Mutune Maweu that occurred on Monday 2nd November 2020 after a short illness.

Son to Late Thomas Maweu and Ruth Ngina. Husband to Naomi Wandia. Father of Magdalene Wangari (Business Lady Nairobi), the late Issac Kimotho, Gladys Ngina Ondera (Entrepreneur Nairobi), Yvonne Mueni (Teacher kanyonga Sec, Sch. Makueni) and Winnie Nyambura (Student Moi University School of Medicine). Grandfather of Alvin and Brian. Brother to Monica Mueni, Salome Mukonyo, Late Ndugwa, Susan Mbuta (Mukalala Primary sch), late Richard Mwikya, Boniface Muoka Maweu (Principal Kalaani Sec School), Patrick Kisilu, the late Michael Nzuni, Catherine Mwende (County Government Machakos), Lt Col Maweu (DFMH) and Naomi Maweu (SEKU). Father In-law of Stephen Wambua and Kennedy Ondera. Son in-law to late Zackius Thuku and Ruth Wangari. Brother In law to Trizah Muoka (Manager NBK SEKU), Jane Kisilu (Entrepreneur Makutano), Sammy Mulumbi (COL Retired) among others. Uncle, Cousin and a friend to many.

The cortege leaves Machakos Funeral Home Mortuary on Saturday 7th November 2020 at 9 am for a funeral service at his home Mwasua village (Makutano ma Mwala) in Mwala.

Dad, No amount of tears can bring you back. We have cried our hearts out. To us you were and remain an angel. May your beautiful Soul Rest in Perfect Peace. AMEN
