It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Rev. Daniel Kipng’eno Salat of Merigi Village. Bomet County after a short illness.

Husband of Norah Salat. Father of Walter, Wesley (Magenji Pri Sch.), Raymond (Saramek Pri Sch), Stanley (Sot Technical Training Institute), Ednah (Burnt Forest Sub-county Hospital), and Lily (Kisii University – Eldoret Campus). Son of the late Kipsalat Chebukto and the late Ruth Chebukto. Brother of the late Rebecca, the late Isaac, the late Catherine, the late Sarah, the late Zipporah and the late Rael. Father-in-law of Mary, Roselyn, the late Janet, Martha, Mr. F. Tanui (Kapletingi Sec School) and Dr. J. Laktabai (Moi Uni). Grandfather and great grandfather of many.

The cortege leaves Tenwek Mission Hospital Mortuary on Friday 25/5/2018 for a service at Merigi AGC Church.

He will be laid to rest on Saturday 26/5/2018 at his home in Merigi Village, Bomet County.
