Rev. Dr. Simon Muindi Nzambu

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the transition to glory of Rev. Dr Simon Muindi Nzambu of Kambu in Kibwezi Sub-County, Makueni County which occurred on Monday Morning 27th May 2019.

Up to his demise, he was overseer of J.C.C. Kibwezi Sub-District. Husband of Jane Nthenya Muindi; son of the late Nzambu Ngonyo and Lydia Nzambu; father of Victoria Furaha, Michael Mumo. Mark Mweteeli, Wilfred Mutuku and Winfred Mwende.

Father-in-law of Paul Kyalo, Paul Gitau and Lydia Mumo. Grandfather of Elvis Mumo, Ndanu Mumo, Sarah Mumo and Tayeisha Gitau. Brother of David Nzambu and Ruth Gituro, Brother-in-law of late Philip Kimaili and Leonard Gituro.

Nephew of late Mwikali, Nthoka, late Munuve, late Mutavi, Sarah, Ndavuta, late Martha, late Nzuki, late Sung’wa, late Mbaika and late Ndini; uncle of Nduku, Ngonyo, Katei, Musyoka, Ndunge, late Vaati, Mutuku, Kanini, Mwaluko, Muema and Kahugi. Cousin of Mbuli, Masila, Sarah, Kaswili, Veronica, Mutula, John, Panani and Mwangangi.

Meetings for the funeral arrangements are held at Nairobi Corner House, 5th floor, today and Sunday from 6 p.m; at his home at Kambu, Mutomo Village, daily from 3 pm.

The cortege shall leave Montezuma Monalisa funeral home, Machakos on 4th Tuesday, June 2019 for the final send-off at Kambu, Kibwezi East Constituency along Mombasa-Nairobi Highway at his home in Mutomo village as from 10.00 a.m.

Daddy you loved and nurtured us, may we follow in your footsteps.
