Rev. Fr. Paul Njoroge

The Archdiocese of Nairobi announces the passing on of Rev. Fr. Paul Njoroge.

Son to the late David Ndahuhu Gichuru and the late Beatrice Wanjiku. Brother to the late Samuel Mburu, the late Hannah Gathoni, the late Mary Wairimu, the late Josepine Njeri, the late George Ndungu, the late Edward Mungai, Mwalimu Francis Peter Kimotho, Michael Waweru and Francis Kuria (Shark Studio).

Uncle to John Abae, David Kinyanjui Wachira, and many others.

Grandfather to Shem Ngugi (Canada), Francis Kimotho Kamau, and many others.

He served in various parishes among them; Mary Help of Christians Parish Ndundu, Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Parish Kiriko, St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish Riruta and as a Chaplain to Mary Help of the Sick Hospital Thika.

Requiem Mass at their home in Thigio, Mboroti, on Tuesday 14/03/2023, Wednesday 15/03/2023, and Thursday 16/03/2023 at 3.00 pm.

The funeral will be held on Friday 17/03/2023. The cortege leaves the Mater Misericordiae Hospital Mortuary at 8.00am. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary’s Msongari Grounds at 10:30 am followed by the interment at Msongari Clergy Cemetery.

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award me on that day. (2 Timothy 4: 7-8).
