Rev. George Okoth Gamba

1976 ~ 2024

It’s with deep sorrow that we announce the promotion to glory of our beloved Rev. George Okoth Gamba of ACK Maseno West Diocese and Baraton University College, Eldoret.

He was the son of the late Mr. Samson Gamba Handa and the late Mrs. Grace Atieno Gamba.

He was husband of Grace Leah Apondi. Father of Samson Oliver Tambo, Paul Steve Biko, Gloria Periz and Polycarp Otieno.

He was brother of Paul of Egerton University- Njoro Campus, Daniel-formerly of KENTTEC Nairobi, James- formerly of Telkom Nakuru,Amos- Principal Naivasha Day, Eric of Eldoret, Peris of Maseno University, Jeremiah of
Mumias, Sgt. Jackson of Njoro, Haggai of Mumias, and Edwin of Kisumu.

He was brother-in-law of Jenipher, Pauline, Agnes, Dorah, Irene, the late Joshua, Lillian, the late Nancy, Nancy, Pamela, Levina and Christine, Eunice, Christopher, Francis and Arnold.

He was Uncle of Victoria, Allan, Amanda, Benjamin, Jordan, Joash, Catherine, Brenda, Angela, lan, Cynthia, Alvin, Jerome, Alexis, Martin, Joshua, Justin, Romena, Barbara, Morgan, Condoleeza, Dadduce, Shanter, Fancy, Margaret, Benedict, Joy, Jabez, Faith, Marion, Mercy, Elsy, and Ella.

He was Son-in-law of the late Mr. John Okumu and the late Mrs. Felistas Achieng.

Nephew of Aggrey Agindi of Ngiya, Late Awino of Ndere, Christine Rev. George Adikiny of Masiro, Late Patrick Mruka, and late Christabel Adhiambo of Asembo Bay.

The cortege leaves St. Mary’s Hospital Mortuary, Mumias, at 12:05pm on Wednesday 27th March, 2024 for prayers at ACK St. Paul’s Church, Musanda. Burial will be held on Thursday 28th March 2024 at their home in Musejere Village near St. Bedas Secondary School, Bukaya, Mumias Sub-county.
