Rev. Joyce Kahombi Otwoma

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Rev. Joyce Kahombi Otwoma which occurred on 8th November 2019 after ailing for a long time.

Daughter of the late Thomas Kemoli and the late Esther Kaleha. Loving wife of Rev. Jared John Otwoma. Daughter-in-law of the late George Otwoma and the late Elina Asachi. Mother of George Kahi, Nixon Otwoma the late Frankline Ameka, Carolyne Anyika, Nancy Odary, Phelly Mwaura, George Otwoma and Lucy Kavulani. Grandmother of Suzzane, Ashley, Natalie, Glen, Ariana, Bradley, Malcolm, Johnwesley, Thomas, Mitchelle, Kevin, Stephanie, Jermaine, Charlene, Joy, Mike, Gideon, Emmanuel, Collins, Lesley, Lynda, Sasha, Florah, J.J jnr, and the late Reagan.

Mother-in-law of Sheila Kahi, Rinah Abel, the late Beatrice Ameka, Enos Anyika, George Odary Beatrice Otwoma and Peter Mwaura. Sister of the late Dr Arthur Kemoli, the late Edah Nambwa, Rev Emily Amayi, Mrs Lorna Obiri, the late Kennedy Luseno, the late Evans Aswani, the late Flora Kemoli and Mrs Jane Okumu. Sister-In-law of Samson Otwoma, Kefa Otwoma, Reoboam Otwoma, Damaris Otwoma, the late Mheshimiwa Musavini Nambwa, Dr Jairus Amayi, the late Festus Obiri, Pamela Aswani and George Okumu.

Friends and family are meeting daily at her residence in Chinese area, Racecourse for prayers and funeral arrangements. There will be a fund-raiser on Tuesday 19/11/2019 at the same venue from 4:00pm to offset the medical bill and funeral expenses.

The cortege will leave Eldoret Hospital Mortuary on Thursday 21/11/2019 for a requiem service to be held at Central Church of God, EldoretWest, after which the body will be transferred to Rev Jared Otwoma’s Eldoret residence or an overnight vigil.

The funeral will be held in Wanakhale village (Bunyore), Vihiga County on Sunday 24th November 2019.
