It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance that we announce the sudden death of Rev. Julius Gitonga Kabaya, which occurred on 1st April, 2021, at Meru Referral Hospital. Son of Or. and Mrs. Justus Kabaya. Son-in-law of Mr. & Mrs. Godfrey Baariu.

Beloved husband of Mrs. Lucy Kagwiria Gitonga. Father of Mercy, Mark & Mary and David & Anita. Grandfather of Myles, Rico and Joel. Brother of Monica Kathambi, Rebecca

Karimi, Henry Mwiti, Janice Kawira, Purity Makena and Nay VVanja. Brother-in-law of Alfred Gatobu, Gitonga Kabaya Joseph Kimathi, Edith Gacheri, Martin Ntonja, Albert Kimathi, Kathure Rukung’a, Muthoni Baariu, Beatrice Kaimuri and many others.

The cortege leaves Meru Referral Hospital mortuary on Monday 5th April, 2021, at 9.00am, for a funeral service at MCK St. Joseph Church – Maua, at 10.00am. He will later be laid to rest at his home in Mpitha Village, Kirimampio Location – Maua, at 12.00pm on the same day.
