Richard Muchai Kibathi

20th February, 1951 — 26th January, 2023

It is with saddened hearts and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the untimely passing on of Richard Muchai Kibathi of Riflo Industries (Riflo), on 26th January, 2023.

Son of the late Peter Kibathi Kimani and the late Ruth Njoki Kibathi. Son-in-law to late George Kori Njuguna and the late Grace Wairimu Kori of Elburgon.

Loving husband to Florence Wangui. Father to Kevin Kibathi, Maureen Kibathi and Doreen Kibathi. A fantastic grandfather to Mansa Muchai.

Brother to (deceased) Edith Wanjiru, (deceased) Aphaxard Kimani, Lydia Wambui & Patterson Mbiu, (deceased) Patrick Wanyoike, Bernard Munene, David Ngungu, Florence Wanja & Geoffrey Kimani, Simon Macharia & Rose Wamuyu, Nancy Nyambura & Cyrus Gitonga, Jane Ngendo & Stephen Kiiyuru, Daniel Kamau &Viellinah Mumbi.

Brother-in-law to Wangari Kori, Njuguna Kori, Kagwanja Kori, (deceased) Njoroge Kori and Njeri Njoroge, Jedidah Kori, Michael Kori,Wainaina Kori and Wanjiru Kori, Wambui Nthuli and Robert Nthuli and Mkuria Kori. A great uncle and grandfather to many people.

Family and friends are meeting at his Runda residence from 4.00pm.

The Memorial Service will be held at PCEA Evergreen Church – Runda, on Wednesday, 1st February, 2023 at 2.00pm.

The cortege leaves Lee Funeral Home on Friday 03 February 2023 at Sam for funeral service and burial at his farm in Githunguri near PCEA Kibathithi church from at 10.00 am.
