It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of, Mr. Richard Ndirangu Gikonyo (Kamaru), formerly of Ragos Trading Co, Prime Fuels, Tilton and Dikus.

Ndirangu is the beloved son of Charles Gikonyo Nyingi and Lorna Nyokabi of Githiru village, Nyeri County. Son-in-law of Rose Wairimu and Batista Mukere. Loving husband of Mary Wangari. Amazing father of Rachael Nyokabi and Ivy Wairimu. Brother of Lawrence N. Gikonyo (DCI), Patrick Githaiga (Ruring’u), Nancy Njeri and Simon Mithamo (TOTAL) Brother-in-law of Hannah Nyingi, Lucy Githaiga and Pascaline Mithamo. Wanjau, Wambui, Margaret, Kamau and Wahito. Uncle to Mercy, Charles, Anne, Bobby, Martin, Staicy, Joe, Levian, Sam, Nyingi, Wambugu and many more. Cousin to Moses, Regina, Nyingi, Muringe, Githaiga, Mithamo and Wacuka. Nephew to The Nyingi Ndugi’s family and The Reuben Githaiga (Nyagathenya) family.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral home on Thursday, 1st April, 2021 at 6:30 am for interment at the family home in Githiru Village, Nyeri County in-line with the MOH regulations.
