It is with profound loss and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Rita Ayiela Okoyana which occurred on 22nd March 2024 after a short illness.

Daughter of the late Harrison and the late Esther Lubanga.

Mother of Ryan Brandson Ogolla (Kalle).

Sister of Florence, Okoyana Watindi, the late Joseph, the late Catherine; the late Christine; the late Beatrice and the late Nancy, Susy, Janet, Dr. Luvanca (David), Rose, Kennedy, and Roy.

Cousin of Lydia, Fred, Moses, Dr. Watindi, and many others.

The cortege leaves Eldoret Hospital Mortuary on Friday, 29th March 2024 for prayers at her Mwanzo home there after leaves to Kiplombe at Ryan’s home for a night vigil. The funeral service will take place on Saturday, 30th March 2024 at the same place.
