Rita Gathoni Gichero

It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Rita Gathoni Gichero who went to be with the Lord on 26th October 2018 after a long illness bravely borne. She was an employee Kenya National Audit Office (KENAO).

Loving wife of Joseph Karuki Gichero National Bank. Beloved daughter of the late Geoffrey Kinyua and Magdaline Wangui and daughter in law of the late Mr and Mrs Samuel Gichero. Loving Mother of Newton Gichero, Brian Kinyua, Speranza Wanjira and Diana Wangui. Sister of James Munene, Teresa Wambui, the Late Beatrice Wanjiku, Jane Muhiu, Simon Njogu, Samuel Githui, Daniel Macharia and Pauline Mumbi. Sister in law of Wanja, Mr and Mrs Mwai, Mr and Mrs Githinji, Wambui and Mr and Mrs Mureithi, Kanyua, Muhiu and Beatrice. She was a loving auntie of many.

Family and friends are meeting at PCEA St. Andrews church Nairobi; IBIS hotel, Karatina and at their Kiamumbi home from 5.30 pm.

There shalt be a fundraiser to clear the hospital bill today , 1st November 2018 at St. Andrews Church. The Mpesa paybill no is 691285, Account no: “Name of the depositor.”

The requiem mass and interment of the body will be held on 3rd November 2018 at their Munyu farm, Naromoru at 11.00 am. The body leaves K.U. Funeral home same day at 7.00 am.

We loved you Rita but God loved you more. May your soul rest in eternal peace.
