Rodgers Aseka Opembe

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Rodgers Aseka Opembe, through a tragic road accident along Waiyaki Way.

Son of the late David Opembe and Beatrice Kokola, loving husband of Caroline Amugune. Father of Laureen Kokola and Angeline Aseka. Brother of the late Hon Jesse. Wilson. Charles, Wycliffe, Hesbon, Pastor Geofrey, Patrick, Fredah, Florence, Mary, Noellah, Fridah, Tabi and Jane. Uncle of Sam (Metropol EA), Richard (Amb Ireland), Dr Naftali (USA), MaryN, Mary (Advocate), Pinto, Okute, Brian (KRA), Arnold (Nairobi Water), Brenda (AMREF), Kerry (CMMB), Mike (ICEA), James (Metropol), Wendy, Rastah (Nazarene University) Libuku, Dennis, Eshikhati (Egerton University) Sharline, Bernice among others.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at Garden Square Nairobi from 6.00pm.

A fund raising will be held on Tuesday 7th at All Saints Cathedral from 5.00pm. Contributions can be forwarded to paybill 400200 Account number 01116089339500.

The cortege leaves Chiromo Mortuary on Thursday 9th for a church service at CITAM Valley Road. Burial will be on 11th August 2018 at his parents home in Emaholia Ematundu, Khwisero Subcounty. Kakamega County.
