It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we the family of the late Jonathan Kipkoech Langat announce the passing unto glory of our beloved mum Mrs. Rose Chepkoskei Langat on 14th January, 2020 at Avenue Healthcare Parklands, Nairobi.

Wife of the late Jonathan Kipkoech Langat formerly of the defunct Municipal Council of Kericho. Loving mother of the late Emily Cherotich, Patrick Kipkorui Koech of Eldoret Polytechnic, George Kibet Koech of Kericho, Patricia Marion Cherono Langat, Advocate Mombasa, and Corretta Fridah Chepkemoi Langat of Heritage Hotels Nairobi. Mother-in-law of Nancy Koech and Josephine Koech. Daughter of the late Kibiwott Samoei arap Koech and the late Rosemary Koech of Chepkongony Village, Nandi County. Daughter-in-law of the late Christopher arap Chepkemoi and Rabecca Chepkemoi of Chepkutung Village, Kericho County. Sister of the late George Samoei, Alexander Samoei, Wilson Samoei, Josephat Samoei, Joseph Samoei, Thomas Samoei, Wilfred Samoei and Gladys Samoei.

Sister-in-law of the late Samuel Langat and the late Ruth Langat, the late Zablon Langat, the late Esther Langat and Elizabeth Langat, the late Joel Langat and Jane Langat, Samuel Ngeno and Betty Ngeno, Samuel Langat and Alice Langat, Esther Bii, Angeline Chepkirui, Joseph Korir and Rosiner Korir, James Langat and Alice Langat, Richard Nyabonei and Lorna Nyabonei, Emily Chepkoech Top, Robert Rotich and Florence Rotich, Roda Samoei, Monica Samoei, Christina Samoei, Josina Samoei, the late Mary Samoei, Jane Samoei, the late Susan Samoei, the late Daisy Samoei, Priscillah Samoei and Alice Samoei. Aunt of several nieces and nephews. A doting grandmother of lvyn Giovanna Chepngetich, Pasley Kipkorir, Sharley Chepkoech, Gloria Cheruto, Ashleen Cheptoo, Emmanuel Kiptoo and Brasley Kipyegon.

Friends and family are meeting daily at her residence in Chepkutung Village, Kapsuser Ward, Belgut Sub-County of Kericho County for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The Cortege leaves Lazarus Funeral Home (Siloam Hospital) on Thursday, 23rd January, 2020 at 2.00pm for an overnight stay at her home at Chepkutung Village. Funeral service will be held on 24th January, 2020 at her residence from 10.00am and thereafter burial at the same place.
