Rose Njeri Kagunya

It is with great sadness that we regret to announce the death of Rose Njeri of Manyatta ‘ha Kagunya’, Naro Moru on the 19th April, 2021, after a short illness.

Wife of the late Erastus Kagunya, Loving mother of the late Moses Waweru, Esther Kariuki, Peter Maina, the late Grace Gathoni, Mary Wanjugu, Geoffrey Githui, Simon Ndirangu and Isaac Gatua. Mother-in-law of Christine Waweru, Kariuki Wagaiyu, Lucy Maina, and Jane Ndirangu. Grandmother of Kagunya, Maranga, Mukandikwa, Maina, Muthoni, Wagaiyu, Rekgotswe, Wanjeri, Njeri, Kagunya Maina, Brian, Njeri, the late Kagunya, Violet, Priscilla Githui, Njeri and Kagunya Ndirangu. Great grandmother of Alex Waweru and Stacy Wacuka.

Prayers are on-going at her Naro Moru home.

The cortege will leave Consolata Mathari Hospital on Tuesday 27th April 2021 at 8.00am for burial at her Naro Moru farm.
