Daughter of the late Shadrack Wambua and the late Mary Wambua. Wife to Joseph Malandi Nzomo. Sister to the late Julius Mwanthi, the late John Musembi, Charles Wambua, Rhoda Munyao, Joyce Mwikali and Michael Nzioka. Mother to Purity Koki Nzomo, Mary Mueni Mwithiga & Dr Leonard Thuo Mwithiga and Anne Ndila Nzomo. Grandmother to Rosemary Mueni Mwithiga, Bill Mwithi Mwithiga and Angela Nthoki Mwithiga.
