It is with humble acceptance of the will of God that we announce the promotion to glory of Rtd. Lay Reader Samuel Ruga Maina from Kasuku, Weru location, Nyandarua West sub-County, Nyandarua County.

Son of the late Maina Ruga and the late Bilha Mweru. Loving Husband of the late Mary Wakarima Ruga. Father of Lucy Mweru Njiru and Samuel Njiru (Kerugoya), Dr. Maina Ruga and Mukami (Nairobi), Dr.Teresia Wangui and Elias Muhiu (Kabete), John Macharia Ruga and Carolyne Muthoni (Kasuku), Margaret Wambui Mungai and Bernard Mungai (Thika).

Brother of the late Joseph Mwangi (Murichu), Josphat Wambugu (Munya), Jane Muthoni Karono (Gitugi, Othaya), Charles Gichuki (Leshau) and the late Stephen Mwai (Leshau). He was grandfather and great grandfather of many.

The cortege leaves J.M. Memorial Hospital mortuary (Ol-Kalou) on Thursday 9th January 2020 at 9 a.m. The burial service will be held at ACK St. Mark Kasuku at 11.00am and thereafter the body will be laid to rest at his home in Kasuku (Weru location).

Family and friends are meeting daily at 3.00 p.m. for prayers at his Kasuku home. There will also be a meeting at All Saints Cathedral on Tuesday 7th January 2020 at 6.00 p.m.
