Rtd. Mwalimu David Gichira Gachoki

It’s with deep sorrow that we announce the passing on of Rtd. Mwalimu David Gichira Gachoki, which occurred on the 15th March 2020.

Son of the late Jacob Gachoki and the late Joyce Muthoni Gachoki. Husband of Cecilia Wanjugu Gichira. Father of Paul Muthie (South Sudan), late Joyce Muthoni, Mrs. Maureen Wairimu Thaithi (Nguguini Sec. Sch), Gilbert Nyamu (Kenya Air Force), Jane Wanjiku and Mrs. Salome Wangui (Mwiteithia Pry. Sch. Engineer). Father-in-law of Mishek Thaithi of Getuya Sec. Sch) and Mrs. Lucy Wanjiru Nyamu (Gatwe Pry. Sch.). Brother of late Jane Wanjiku Kabiti, late Mika Njeri Gathutwa, late Gladys Wamarwa Nginye, Mwalimu Geoffrey Mwangi Gachoki and Mrs. Rose Wangechi Gichimu. Grandfather of Muriithi, Philip, Patrick, Christine, Martin, Gilbert, Joan, Doris, Kibuchi, Roy, Kabiru and Kelvin and great grandfather of Joan, Muthoni, Clinton and Jude.

Family and friends are meeting at his home Giakibata (Gatwe) from 4.00 pm.

The cortege leaves ACK Mt Kenya Hospital Kibingo on 21st March 2020 for a funeral service and burial at his home in Gatwe (Giakibata) Kirinyaga County.
