Rufus Mutahi Mahugu

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing away of our beloved Patriarch, Rufus Mutahi Mahugu on 10th January, 2023 after a long illness.

He was Husband to the late Julia Muthoni Kamanjiri (1968) and Mary Wannuyu Mutahi. Father to Peter Mwaniki, Eunice Ndirangu, Peterson Mwai, Joy Mbau,Wangui Mwangi and Joe Maina.

Father-in-law to the late Gladys Wanjiku, Ronald Ndegwa, Phyllis Mwai, Anthony Mbau, James Mwangi and Semerian Sankori.

Grandfather to Brian Mwaniki, Ian Mwaniki, Evelyn Ndirangu, Duncan Ndirangu, Ryan Mwai, Imani Mwai, Amani Mwai, Neema Mwai, Zawadi Mwai, Nichole Mbau, Peterson Mwangi, Tasha Mwangi, Adrian Mwangi, Milanoi Maina and Mayian Maina.

Family and friends are meeting in Nairobi on Monday 16th January, 2023 from 5.00pm, at United Kenya Club, State House Road.

There will be a Requiem Service at his home in Kiamabara, Karatina, on Sunday 15th January, 2023 at 2.00p.m. The funeral will start at 10.00 a.m on 18th January, 2023, at the Kiamabara Farm, Karatina.
