Ruth Gathoni Kamangu Nyumu

It is with grieving hearts and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of sister-in-Christ Mrs Ruth Gathoni Kamangu Nyumu, on Wednesday 25th August, 2021, at The Nairobi Hospital, after a long illness.

Beloved daughter of the late Reuben Mutuota and Miriam Njeri of Gathuthi, Tetu, Nyeri. Daughter-in-law of the lace Nyumu and Teresia Wairimu of Mukurweinl Nyeri. Beloved wife to Hon. John Kamangu Nyumu of Nairobi County MCA- Ruai Ward. Doting Mother to Christopher Nyumu, Kennedy Mutuota and Teresia Wairimu. Mother-in-love to Ann Nyaikamba Nyumu and In-law to Mr/Mrs Joseph Kahuko.

Sister to Zakaria and Margret, Nancy (UK) Lydia and Kabithe, the late Rebecca and Mwaniki, the late Sarah and Paul, Naomi and Gitau, Harun and the late Mercy and Alice, Norman and Margaret, Daniel and Elizabeth, the late Paul and Mary and Twin Sister to Joram and Nellas. Sister-in-law to Muthoni, Wanjiku, Wangui, the late Kibe and Gichohi. Doting grandmother to Ruth Junior and Kamangu Junior.

Family and friends are meeting at Triple O Hotel, off Eastern Bypass Ruai/Utawala – Nairobi, from 6.00pm – 8 OOpm.

The cortege leaves Lee Funeral Home on Thursday 2nd September, 2021, at 7.30am for requiem mass at Muhuri Muchiri Stadium – Ruai at 10.00am and she will be laid to rest at family home in Ruai thereafter.
