Ruth Wanjiru Kamau

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Ruth Kamau of Thome 5 Estate Nairobi. Ruth rested on 7th June 2019 at 10.30am after a long illness bravely borne.

She was married to David Muchiri Ndungu of Kahunira Githunguri. She was the first born child of the late Wilson Kamau Kenju and late Mary Mugure Kamau of Icaciri village Gatundu South. She was a loving and adored mother of Lydia Wambui and Peter Gatheru, Florence Mugure and Dr. Edward Kobuthi, Kenneth Kamau and Charity Wanjiru. Grandmother of John Waigwa, Kevin Kambogo, Betty Muiru, Lewis Muchiri, Abigail Wanjiru and Japheth Gitau. Sister of Peter Kenju, late James Njuguna, Naomi Njeri, late David Kimani, Margaret Nduta and Samson Rieu. Sister-in law to Rose Njoki, Veronica Nyambura, late Samuel Njoroge, Mary Wambui, Ken Mwaura, Jemimah Njeri, Samuel Kiiru, Simon Ndinguri, Jackson Njoroge, Ruth Wangari and the entire Ndungu Kiiru Family at large.

Daily prayer meetings are taking place at their Home, Thome Five from 6.30 pm.

The cortege leaves KU mortuary on Friday 14 June 2019 at 8.00am for a funeral service at PCEA Icaciri Church starting at 10.30 a.m. She will be laid to rest at her rural home Murenge Village, Gatundu South Kiambu County.
