It is with humble submission to God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of SACP Dr. Grace Anyango Odhiambo on Sunday the 12th of January, 2020 at the Nairobi Hospital. She was the Deputy Commandant, Prisons Staff Training College, Ruiru in the Kenya Prisons Service, State Department for Correctional Services, Ministry of Interior and Coordination of National Government.

Beloved wife of Mr. Tobias Odhiambo Okech, businessman in Kisumu. Loving mother of Joshua Milanya Odhiambo and Winnie Akinyi Odhiambo. She was the adored daughter of the late Joshua and Florence Milanya of Konyango-Jieri; Kendu Bay, Homa Bay County. Daughter-in-law of Pitalis and the late Teresia Okech of Ang’oga Village, South West Seme Location, Kisumu County. Sister of Nerea Apiyo, Tabitha Auma, Beatrice Aduda of Okanja Primary School, Benson Ogoma, Charles Milanya of Kodiaga Prison, the late Paul Milanya, Michael Milanya of Nairobi Primary School and Susan Milanya of Bank of Africa, Nairobi. Sister-in-law of the late Mary Achieng, Siprose Adundo, the late Clarice Otieno, Karen Otieno, Edward Otieno, Patrick Abuya, George Nyachar among others.

Family and friends meet daily at the family’s Woolley residence starting 5.00pm.

There will be a requiem mass at The Holy Family Basilica, from 1.00pm on Thursday 30th January 2020.

The cortege will leave Lee Funeral home at 10.00am for JKIA, to Kisumu International Airport on Friday 31st January, 2020. The burial will take place on Saturday 1st of February, 2020 at the family home in Ang’oga Village, South West Seme Location, Kisumu County.
