It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Salesio Waweru Gicuvi on the 29th November 2018 after illness bravely borne.

Son of the late Gicuvi Wa-Kangaru and Njoka Wangarari. Brother of the late John Mugo, Charity Wanjovi Kihanya, Njagi Gicuvi and Patrick Gicovi. Loving father of Lawrence Murithi Waweru (Ministry of Foreign Affairs), the late Peter Nyaga, James Kinyua, the late Joseph Ngari, the late Catherine Wangiri, Mary Njoki, the late Gabriel Muchangi, Lucy Werimba, Angelo Njagi (Ministry of Public Works), Agnes Karimi (Ministry of Lands),Aluisia Murugi (State Law Office) and James Kariuki.

Father in-law of Irene Muthanje Murithi, Judy Njoki Kinyua, the late Beth Rwamba Ngari, Ann Gicuku Muchangi, Romano Muchangi, David Nyaga and Elizabeth Wangari Njagi. Grandfather of Everlyne Wanja,Ann Wairimu, Christine Wanja, Brian Munene, Wilson Munene, Purity Karimi, Lewis Munene, Ian Mutwiri, SharOn Mukami, Melvis Mucoki, Hope Wanja, Olive Murugi, Kristian Murugi, Roy Munene, Joy Mwende, Eddy Maina, Osca Junior Murimi, Alvin Munene, Abigael Nolo and Wiclyffe Munene.

Family and friends are meeting daily in his home (Njagairi village, Kivwe – Embu) and in Nairobi on Thursday the 6th of December 2018 and Friday the 7th December 2018 from 5:30pm at the All Saints Cathedral for burial arrangements.

The cortege leaves Gakwegori Funeral Home at 9:00am on Saturday the 8th of December 2018 for burial at his home in his Njagairi village, Gatunduri sub-location, Embu County.
