Sammy Githiru Kinyanjui (Uncle Sammy)

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Sammy Githiru Kinyanjui which occurred on 7th July 2019 at Kenyatta National Hospital after a brief period of hospitalization.

Son of the late Charles Kinyanjui Githiru and the late Hannah Wanjiku. Loving husband of Rosemary Nyambura. Father of James Kinyanjui, Stephen Gitau, Hanna Wanjiku and Francis Mburu. Brother of Mary Nyambura, Esther Wangari, the late Lucy Njeri, the late Miriam Wambui, the late Francis Mburu, the late Zipporah Wanjiru and the late Peter Kamau. Son-in-law of Gitau Njiri and Agnes Wanjiku. A much-loved nephew, cousin, uncle, granduncle and brother-in-law of many.

Family and friends are meeting every day at his home in Buru Buru Phase II from 6.30pm for funeral arrangements and prayers.

He will be laid to rest on Tuesday 16th July, 2019 at Lang’ata Cemetery after a memorial service at the same venue starting at 10.00am. The cortege will leave Kenyatta National Hospital Farewell Home at 9.00am.
