Son of the late Ayub Ndiritu Gathoga and the late Hannah Wanjiru Ndiritu; Son-in-law of the late Peter Ndirangu Gitatha and the late Tabitha Wambui Ndirangu. Husband of Teresia Wanjiku (Terryline Textile, Nyeri); Father of Jane Waiganjo (Total Kenya), Ndiritu Waiganjo (Patline Electronics), Wambui Waiganjo (AFCA-Kenya), Esther Waiganjo (NAS Airport). Father-in-Law of the Late Henry Kimani, Rose Ndiritu (Taipan Forex, JKIA) and Njoroge Gitau (Dubai). Brother of Esther Wambui Gathogo, Lucy Nyambura Ndiritu, the late David Muhoro, Charles Guandaru and Nancy Wangeci. Brother-in-law of Gathogo Wagita, Ndiritu Nguthiru, Nyawira Guandaru, Wairimu Muhoro and Wambugu Phares.

Family and friends are meeting daily at Abbey Hotel, opposite Malindi Dishes Restaurant on Gaberone Road, off Luthuli Avenue, Nairobi from 6.00pm and at his home in Muthuaini village.

The cortege leaves Nyeri Funeral Home, next to Outspan Hospital on Saturday, 20th January 2018 at 8.00 am for funeral service and burial at his home in Muthuaini Village.
