Sammy was one of my close friends as we were schooling at Saye. We played together and studied together…many times after school.

Together with Zakayo Nyonge Ongere,…we had special code names that prevailed to date.

Sometime in 2019, he called me to inform me about some issues with the road junction to his home,.. (also to a plot I own near him).. and the pet name is what he used, with me reciprocating in kind.
His untimely loss came as blow to his family but to me as well. I pray that our Almighty God gives the family strength to bear the loss.

May you rest in eternal peace..
May you rest in peace DeWitts!
