Samuel Mbatia Gicheru of Ongata Rongai, Kajiado County

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Samuel Mbatia Gicheru of Ongata Rongai on 25/12/20 after a short illness.
He was the son of late Fredrick Gicheru Mbatia and late Virginia Wanjiru of Waithaka village Dagoretti; Son in law to the late Onesmus Njuguna and the late Naomi Murugi of Kairo Muran’ga.

Loving husband to Eunice Wanjiku Mbatia.

Father of the late Fredrick Gicheru, late Virginia Wanjiru, Kevin Njuguna (USA), late Naomi Murugi, David Karanja, John Ngaru (USA).

Brother of Susan Kamiri, Esther Ngene, David Karanja, Stephen Gicheru, Nancy Njoroge, Evanson Gitau, Josephine Munene, Elizabeth Mburu, Joseph Wamweya. Grandfather to Diana Gicheru among others. Loving uncle and brother in law to many.

The cortege leaves Umash funeral home on Tuesday,5th January at 9:00am and thereafter funeral service and burial at Lang’ata cemetery.
