It is with deep sorrow and humility to announce the sudden death of Samuel Mogusu Mochoge of Dallas USA/ Kerarapon-Ngong, Kajiado County Kenya, also of Gionseri, Masige west, Bassi location Kisii County, which occurred on 13th September 2022 in Dallas, USA.

Husband of Dr. Marlene Vega of the USA. Son of Prof. Benson Mochoge and the late Yunuke Magoma Mochoge of Kerarapon-Ngong, Kajiado county Kenya. Son-in-law of David Vega and Criselda Ruiz of PuertoRico.

Grandson of the late James Onyiego and the late Peninah Monayo, the late Rev. Zacharia Nyakiana and the late Pauline Nyanduko.

Loving Father of Michelle, Gabriella,Tiffany and Abigail Mochoge.

Brother to Dr. Daniel and Christine (Kenyatta Hospital), Dr. Edward and Bethsheba (Mater Hospital), Martin and Ana (USA). Brother-in-law to Darlene Vega.

Nephew of Dr. George and Keziah Onyiego, Loice and Christopher Nyakundi, Henry and Jane Gechuru, Adv. Phillip and Judy Makini, the late (Jeremiah and Yobesh), Joel, Drusilla, John, Daudi, the late Mary, Jane, David, Naftali, Evans, Thomas and Callen.

Nephew to the Basigwa’s.

Cousin to Dr. Makoyo and Lilian, Gladys, Esther, Adv. Linet, Adv. On Sunday, 9th October 2022, the family will leave Lee Funeral Home at 8.00am and proceed to Nairobi Central SDA Church for a short memorial, prayer and service, and there-after proceeding to a full service at County Inspectorate Training Play Ground next to Metrological Department between 11.00am and 3.00pm.

Family and friends are meeting daily for funeral arrangements at Prof._ Mochoge’s residence Kerarapon, Ngong.
