Samuel Njue Munyi

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing on of Samuel Njue Munyi who until his death was a Principal Information Officer in the Department of Information in the Ministry of ICT, Innovation and Youth Affairs.

Son of John Munyi and Jedidah Marigu of Kangaru, Embu County. Son in law of Dr. Jeremiah Gateri and Milkah Wambui. Loving husband of Bernice Wanjiru. Father of Daniel Gateri and Steven Munyi, Brother of Margaret Wanja, Richard Murimi, Grace Muthoni, Benson Njeru, Eddith Wawira, Edward Mwaniki, Annet Kagendo and Nancy Karimi. Brother-in-law of Patrick, Joyce, Peter, Njoka, Chomba, Machanga, Njanja, Wanjiru, Ndemi, Njeri, Muthoni and Njue.

The cortege will leave Gakwegori Funeral Home, Embu on Friday, 4/9/2020 followed by a funeral service at Kangaru Catholic Church from 9.00am and thereafter burial will take place at his home at Nthambo sub-location, Embu County.
